    Default Encoding issues?

    HI gang

I'm trying to convert a dvd to h.264 format but seem to be doing it wrong or left something out, I used DvdShrink to rip the movie (dvd files) to my hdd with worked o.k. I then tried a program called Magic Video Converter to convert it across but got the same files again which was not a single movie file?

Any program/tutorial recommendations would be much apprieated, thank you!

not sure if this is what you are trying to do or or

You sound like you are trying to convert a movie to mpeg4 so instead of having .vob files you will have one .mp4 file that has shrunken in size?

i might have it ass backwards

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough, I did mean as in a single file i.e Rambo.avi as in a downloaded one. I'll go through the tutorials later on.

    thank you!
